There is a little saying that goes like this. A child enters the world with hands clutched, fist tight symbolizing “The whole world is mine, I shall inherit it.” But in reality when we die, we die with hands wide open symbolizing we take nothing with us. People don’t care about what you had they care about what you gave. We all want to live a legacy of love and that is exactly what Cody did. Cody Lee Hubbard received his crown of glory from the father above on August 24, 2017. No doubt Cody is enjoying his mansion prepared just for him in heaven. Cody lived his life loving God, loving life and loving people. He worked as a Wind Technician for Invenergy for the past 10 years where he made many many great friends. Cody met the love of his life Kimberly and married her on May 11, 2013. Cody fulfilled his role as a wonderful husband an awesome son and the best brother Tony and Kalea could ask for. He will be missed beyond measure. We give God thanks for the 29 years we got to spend with Cody. Cody is survived by his beautiful wife Kimberly Hubbard and his mom and dad Chip and Tonya Hubbard, his older brother Tony Hubbard and his baby sister Kalea Hubbard and an innumerable host of family and friends that he will meet again when they too receive their crowns.
A visitation for Cody will be held on Sunday August 27th from 6-8 pm at The Christian Temple on Hickory St in Colorado City. A funeral service will be held on Monday August 28th at 10 am at the Christian Temple Church with burial to follow at the Dorn Cemetery.
