So very sorry to hear of the passing of Tom Curley. I enjoyed working with him on the Haddon Township Zoning Board. His dedication and valuable contributions were always appreciated. My sincerest sympathy to his wonderful family. Very kind man. Sincerely, Ellie Connell

Sorry to the Curley family, Always rember talking football with the coach during htaa practice when he was watching his grandson and my sons. he was always teaching. thank you for the advice

I remember having to go to his office at HTHS.  I was in trouble for something. He was so soft and easy. I never wanted to disappoint him again. He always made me feel like he was happy to see me. Good man.

All my prayers go to Tom and of course to Mary Alice.  Tom will be missed by all but I Love hearing about all his children

Dear Lord, son...those were significant words I often heard from Tom Curley directed at me. They were usually spoken after a missed tackle or a blown block. You knew he was not happy with your effort but he had forgiveness in his heart. And, "seven seconds effort"; I don't know where that came from but I and many others carried that idiom with us our whole lives in work and play. A seven second prayer was always good for a moment of need.  I remember at captains meetings before gameday in his home Mary Alice was gracious and the kids were kids. The Curley house was a real home. Way back in the Green Wave days I saw first-hand how Tom Curley worked to get his players recognition and access to colleges. Tom Curley was a leader who brought together men like Joe Bendorf, Mike Narducci, Mike Spontak, George Kinkler and John Kling. We were all given a gift of the presence of men teaching boys to be men. They were led by a great, loving man. Dear Lord, son let's see some seven second effort.   AHS '69   JMJ

As always, light a candle.  Go forward.  Try again.  Seven seconds of trying in football or any other struggle.  For me it was seven seconds of physical therapy.  Kept that close to my heart the whole fight.  Enjoy Jack, Sarah and the ocean waves.  Until we embrace again.  I will miss you my friend.

The Pennsauken Country Club Staff extends its condolences on hearing of Mr. Curley's passing.  He was a treasured golf member at the country club for many years who earned the respect of many of his fellow members.

Tom was not only a great coach, he was a fine human being.  May the blessing of God be with him and a fair wind be at his back.  I will miss him and the world is a poorer place without him...Al and Bobbi Tanner
