She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Richard Baker and sister Janet (Richard) Ihfe.
Kay was a natural teacher with many passions. She taught English at Rutgers Camden night school, quilting for over 20 years, as well as being a caller of country dancing. Kay’s main passion was country dancing, a hobby she and her husband Richard shared for many years together. Kay attended Pinewoods for over 30 years, a beautiful dance camp near Cape Cod. She was a caring woman, loyal friend and loving companion.
She had a great sense of humor and zest for life that constantly inspired others and was always on the move, whether it be dancing, singing or quilting. Kay was an avid reader and loved murder mysteries best. Besides dancing, Kay and Richard loved to travel and have visited many countries together. Her multi-talents, fun loving nature, and caring personality will be missed by all who knew her.
