nee Stens, peacefully on Sept. 29, 2013, beloved wife of the late Albert Volpe; devoted mother of Sandra Robertson of Pilesgrove, Nicholas A. Volpe of Woodlynne & the late Linda M. Maggi; grandmother of 8; great grandmother of 13; sister of Chester Stens of Woodlynne & mother-in-law of Ronald Maggi of Pennsauken.
A member of Collingswood High School Class of ’35 & a resident of Woodlynne 80 years, Jean & her late husband operated the Volpe Luncheonette in Woodlynne in the 50s & 60s; then Jean worked at Ponzio’s, Cherry Hill till 1996.
Viewing Thursday 9 AM in BLAKE-DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 226 Collings Ave., Collingswood. Services 10 AM, Rev. Kenneth P. Hallahan presiding. Interment beside her beloved husband at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
