Mrs. Kelley, a member of “ The Greatest Generation” was predeceased by her loving husband, James B. Kelley the former owner of Bayard’s Chocolate House. Helen is survived by her sister, Betty Lee Henrikson, her niece, Carol Hope Dannenberg & husband, George as well as James’ nieces, Natalie Sandell, Constance Wells & Pamela Dalton and nephew, Reed Price, III.
Born in Philadelphia, raised in Collingswood, Mrs. Kelley lived the last 40 years on Lane of Acres in Haddonfield. Helen & her late husband were strong supporters of the Bible Presbyterian Church & its late pastor, Dr. Carl McIntire. Mrs. Kelley served on the Women’s Boards of Cooper University and Thomas Jefferson University Medical Centers and the Haddon Fortnightly.
Helen was proud of her long memberships at the Union League and Tavistock Country Club. A strong supporter of organizations which care for animals, Helen tirelessly donated time & energy to numerous fundraising activities with a generous heart of gold.
Relatives & Friends will be received on Saturday at 10 AM in the Bible Presbyterian Church, 1115 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, NJ 08108. Funeral Services at 11 AM, Pastor Christian Spencer, presiding. Interment beside her beloved husband at Harleigh Cemetery, Camden.
It is respectfully suggested that donations in Helen’s memory be offered to
the Bible Presbyterian Church.
