Diana Elizabeth Turpin

Diana Turpin was a woman known for her big heart, as she was a mother figure, friend, sister and prayer warrior to so many people that she came across during her time here on earth. Diana Elizabeth Turpin, age 78, of Vineland New Jersey passed away at home surrounded by loved ones from cancer, on Sunday December 24, 2023.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Pickney Austin Perry and Mildred Josephine Petway, on April 26, 1945. At the age of 5, her father passed away and her mother decided to move Diana, her twin brother Lynnwood, and older brother Ronald to Vineland, NJ. Diana was educated in the Vineland Public School District. She worked at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center for 30 plus years, where she touched the lives of so many veterans and later retired.

Diana met the love of her life Larry Turpin at the age of 14 years old in Vineland, NJ. Diana and Larry were married December 22, 1968. Excited to start their lives together as husband and wife, the couple eventually moved to Philadelphia, PA to raise their family.

Diana leaves to cherish her memories with husband Larry Franklin Turpin; sister-in-law Dr. Virginia Perry; Children; Yvette Lloyd- Moore, Dana Turpin; Kenneth Turpin (Karen), Kerry Williams, and Kelly Turpin-Parker (Vincent). She also leaves 13 beloved grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Diana also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her loving spirit. Diana will always be remembered for her heartwarming and encouraging spirit.

Diana was known for always being available physically and emotionally for others. Her giving heart has touched so many lives and will continue to do so through her loved ones.
