William Edward Faverty

William (Bill) Edward Faverty of Cordova, TN. passed away peacefully in the extremely late hours of Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 83. Born August 21, 1941, to Vernon Dee and Sarah Ethyl Faverty at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Survived by his children David Faverty of Firestone, CO, married to Jackie, Dan Faverty, married to Amy, Jennifer Lo, married to David, and three grandchildren, Sarah Jane, Will, and Preston, and sister Beverly, of Olive Branch, MS. and brother Harold of Sharon, PA. He was preceded in death by his sisters Nina, Verna, Carolyn, and his grandson Everett.

Bill attended Humes High School and later Memphis State University for two years. He worked at International Harvester for 12 years where he worked in the engineering department as a Tool and Die Maker before leaving there and becoming an Industrial Sales Representative servicing customers throughout the Mid-South for Carborundum Abrasives Co. where he received many sales achievement awards. Bill was an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing throughout the Mid-South for most of his life until illness home bound him.
