William "Bill" Lee Farmer, 68, of Collierville, TN, died Sunday November 25, 2018. Mr. Farmer retired from MLGW after over 30 years of service. A true family man, his family was very important and he always wanted to make sure he was at all the family events. While he loved his entire family, his girls, Trish, Heather, Allyson, and Leigh were his world....until his grandson Clay came along. Mr. Farmer loved to work in his yard and loved to cheer on the Tennessee Volunteers football team. Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kaye Farmer, his parents, John C. and Geraldine Farmer, and his brother, Jerry Farmer. He is survived by his daughters, Heather Crutcher (Mark), Allyson Marie Farmer, and Leigh Farmer; six siblings, Jim Farmer, Norma Houston, Linda Clark, Charles Farmer, Bob Farmer, and David Farmer; and one grandson, Clayton Randall Crutcher. Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, from Noon until the funeral service begins at 2 p.m., all at Collierville Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
