William was born in Collierville to William Curtis Adair, Sr. and Mary Catherine McKee Adair on November 24, 1941. He graduated from Collierville High School.
William led a life only most of us can only dream of. He would think of an idea and make it come to fruition. William was a wealth of knowledge across many industries during his lifetime. He was an avid race car driver, farmer, fisherman, and cattle rancher. William was a successful entrepreneur throughout his life including Tennessee Body Shop, Grandview Plantation, Direct Insurance Company and Piperton Hills Development.
William is preceded in death by his parents, William Curtis Adair, Sr., Mary Catherine McKee Adair; siblings, Mary Lee Adair Beloate, Etta Louise Adair Johnson, James David Adair and grandson, DJ Lea.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie, of 28 years. Six daughters: April (Justin) Max, Ginger (David) Naylor, Lacey Adair Bishop, Leslie Adair, Tammy (Frank) Adair Millington, and Kerry Adair Taylor. One Brother, Frank Allen Adair and 2 sisters, Betty Adair Kirk and Deborah Kay Adair Bullock. Nine grandchildren: Kinsley Max, Knox Naylor, Stella Naylor, Emerson Max, Sydney Bishop, Chase Bishop, Ariana Millington, Alexis Millington and Cody Williams. Two greatgrandchildren: Tucker Williams and Bentley Lea.
Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
