Paul was a great friend who would do anything for you!  Miss you buddy!

Paul was my late dad’s roommate, they passed away within a month of each other. I have so many memories of the two, for example they would talk about wrestling from different rooms yelling to one another, of course the duo could barely hear what the other would say but it would always end up with me laughing at the two. Paul was if not the smartest man I’ve ever met than definitely the most enlightened one. Even though I would always be too afraid to go to Paul when doing my homework (thinking he would judge me if I got the answers wrong),he would constantly offer his help to me. He collected comic books and we would at least twice every time I saw him talk about comics. I wish I could go over to the apartment once more and spend the night like I used to, staying up late watching Big Bang theory, or some fix it upper tv shows, eating dangerous high sugar gummy worms. I miss those days.

We were fortunate enough to have Paul join our family on different occasions over the years.  He was kind, thoughtful and generous. It was not uncommon for Paul to buy presents for the kids on birthdays or Christmas or spread a little happiness with flowers for the sisters in my family.  
Paul showed his support for our son, Joshua, as well as the Down Syndrome Association of Memphis and the Mid-South by helping at our BBQ fundraiser, joining us at Step Up for Down Syndrome, and enjoying his bidding and winning of different auction items during the Get Down and Derby gala. 
Most importantly, he was a great friend to my brother!  Rest In Peace, Paul! 💙
