It is with heavy hearts that the family of Pamela Jean Eskew, lovingly known as Pam, announces her unexpected passing on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the age of 66. Pam was born on September 20, 1957 in Memphis, TN and is a resident of Collierville, TN where she raised her children. Pam is a member of Germantown Church of Christ and lived as a devout Christian woman.
Known for her infectious energy, generosity, and warm smile that welcomed all, Pam will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Her family asks that she is remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. Pam carries on in the waves of the ocean, in the loving tears of her children, in the laughter of her grandchildren, in the lyrics of a Bob Seger song, on a long walk with a friend, in the eyes of her beloved dog, Josie, and in the hearts of her family and friends. Along with her desire for togetherness and constant uplifting spirit, her children admire her most for instilling the love of God and hope of salvation inside of them.
She is survived by her children and their spouses: her son, Eric Jake Eskew, her daughter-in-law, Erica Bethea Eskew, her daughter, Abby Eskew Pullen, and her son-in-law, Clark Smeltzer Pullen. Pam will live on through the spirits of her five grandchildren: Hazel Rae Pullen, Luke Abel Pullen, Jude Clark Pullen, Maverick Jake Eskew, and Knox Hazel Eskew. She will also be fondly remembered by her sister, Terrye Sims Perry, and her brother, Shaler Rodney Sims. Pam is predeceased by her father, Shelby Ray Sims, and her mother, Betty Jean Sims.
The family will receive friends on Saturday April 20, 2024 at Collierville Funeral Home, 3863 Bailey Station Road from 3-4 p.m. with a memorial service at 4 p.m.
