Matthew Dale Lewis

Matthew Dale Lewis was born on a snowy January 18, 1970, in Jonesboro, AR. He grew up in a Godly home where he developed his sense of Christianity. He passed away on December 18, 2022. Even though his death was a surprise to everyone, his last day on earth was fought very hard. In the end, he finally sought peace in the arms of the Lord around 10:30pm.

Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert & Monterie Lewis of Jonesboro, Arkansas and his maternal grandparents, Luther & Susie Hazlewood of Arkansas

He is survived by his wife Amanda Lewis of Collierville, Tennessee; his parents, Lee & Marilee Lewis of Bentonville, Arkansas, his sister, Jennifer Smith of Bentonville, Arkansas; his special niece, Katie Smith; his Aunt Mary Wright of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his Aunts, Merle Wymer and Judi Sawyer; and many cousins on both sides of the family.

A visitation for Matthew will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
