Larry Mack Pruett, 68, of Collierville, TN, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2021. Born in Union City, TN, on February 25, 1953, he attended University of Tennessee in Martin where he met his wife and best friend, Jenny. They shared forty wonderful years together full of love, laughter, and beach vacations, all with their loving family.
He is survived by his wife Jenny Pruett; his two children Maggie Cooley (Charles) of Bartlett, and Derek Pruett (Laura) of Germantown; his three grandchildren Emily Ferrara (Alex) of Kansas City, John Cooley of Bartlett, and Samuel Pruett of Germantown; and his brother Danny Pruett (Staci) of Hickman, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents Malcolm and Julia Pruett of South Fulton, TN.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, at 9:00am at Collierville Christian Church, 707 New Byhalia Rd, Collierville, TN. The memorial service will begin at 10:00am, also at Collierville Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation of America, American Diabetes Association, or Collierville Christian Church.
