Mrs. Earnest was the first born daughter of Norlen (Bill) & Ailene (Nix) Kimery. Joyce retired from the Bodine Company in Collierville, TN after working there for 30+ years. In Joyce's early years she loved hunting & fishing. In her later years, she loved to go to the casinos. She also loved to spend time with her family & grandkids.
Joyce is survived by her son Kenneth Clay Earnest & wife Becky Sue Earnest (of Moscow,TN), her grandchildren Clay Douglas Earnest (of Ashland, MS), Kathryn Paige Earnest (of Lamar, MS), John Michael Earnest (of Piperton, TN), & Wyatt Mason Earnest (of Lamar,MS) & 2 great grandchildren Brantley Dale Earnest & Bentley Lynn Williams, 2 sisters Betty Faye Davis (Rich) (of Moscow, TN), Betty Ann Bloodgood (of Moscow, TN) & 1 brother James ( Buddy) Kimery (Elaine) (of Moscow, TN) & several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Bill & Aliene (Nix) Kimery, 1 sister Dorothy Jean Jones, 1 niece Mary Alice Jones, & 1 nephew Steven James Kimery.
A visitation for Joyce will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 West Poplar, Collierville, TN 38017. Following the visitation will be a committal service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Woods Cemetery Hickory Valley, 316 Woods Cemetery Road, Hickory Valley, TN 38042.
