

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jamie Peppers Martin, who left us on April 7th, 2025, at the age of 62. Jamie was born on January 3, 1963, in Memphis, TN, to Harold and Sandra Peppers. She was raised in the Frayser neighborhood, where she developed a deep love for animals, particularly stray dogs, often trying to give them a safe place to call home. Jamie later moved to Cordova, TN, where she spent the rest of her life.
Jamie’s passion for her work as a paralegal at Shuttleworth PLLC spanned over 25 years, and she was well-respected by her colleagues for her dedication and expertise. Outside of work, Jamie was an avid sports fan. She followed her favorite teams with unwavering loyalty, including the Arkansas Razorbacks, Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Memphis Tigers. Her true passion, however, was found on the race track, where she found great joy and excitement watching NASCAR and dirt track racing.Jamie’s heart was also drawn to the beach, which was her favorite escape. She cherished spending time with her family and friends, and her loving companionship will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Sandra Peppers, and her dear aunt Carol.
She is survived by her brother Jimmy Peppers, sister Jill Peppers, niece Kristen Peppers, aunts and uncles Martha Peppers, Betty Ginn (Bobby), Ann Brooks (Gaylon), and her beloved fur babies: Indy, Jax, Cali, and Charlotte. Jamie was blessed with loyal and steadfast friends, including her best friend Marcia Stevens and her faithful friend Lisa Juneau, who provided her with love and support throughout her life.
Services will be held April 12th, 2025 at Collierville Funeral Home in Collierville, TN. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm with funeral services following at 2:00pm.
