Horace Emanuel Smith, 80, of Memphis, passed from this life Monday, March 6, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He was born November 24, 1936 in Henderson, TN to the late Bunyan Emanuel and Minnie Jane Smith. Mr. Smith was retired from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife; Mary Jo Smith, his daughter and son in law; Tina Maria Smith Cox and James Allen “Bo” Cox, sister; Hazel Smith Addington, brothers; James Grady and Lonnie Dee Smith, and four grandchildren.
