Dixie Morton Throneberry, 81, of Collierville, passed from this life Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Methodist Hospice Residence House in Memphis. She was born June 26, 1934 in Rossville, TN to the late William and Freda Stone Morton. Mrs. Throneberry was a founding member of Collierville Assembly of God and was retired from the Carrier Corporation. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Eugene Throneberry and a brother, Phillip Morton. She is survived by 3 daughters; Gail Brewer, Lorie Rose, Sandra Clement (David), 2 sons; Gil Throneberry, Jody Throneberry (Denise), 3 sisters; Pat Rhodes, Wanda Johnson, Melanie Johnston, 4 brothers; Larry, Jimmy, Chris and Mike Morton, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Visitation will be 9:30am Tuesday, January 26, 2015 with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00am in the T. Carl Rutledge Memorial Chapel of Collierville Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fisherville First Baptist Church Cemetery.
