B. Lamar Smith, 86, of Collierville, and originally from Ripley, MS, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016. Mr. Smith, a U.S. Army Veteran, was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, B. Lorene Smith and his brother, Robert Smith. He is survived by his children, David Lamar Smith (Susan) and Cindy Lunati (Larry), his grandchildren, Michael Smith, Kristen DeStefanis, Laura Smith, Jonathan Lunati, and Rachel Lunati, and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 1pm until the service begins at 2pm, all at Collierville Funeral Home, 534 W. Poplar Ave. Collierville, TN. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
