Waymon Lewis Guiton, 63, passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Waymon was born Nov. 20, 1951, in Berkley, Calif. He was a 1969 graduate of I.M. Terrell Senior High School and received an associate of science degree in electrical technology from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1972. He also earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Houston in 1974. On May 11, 1974, Waymon was commissioned as a captain in the United States Marine Corps. He served his country from 1974-1979 as a F4 fighter pilot. Waymon was employed with Oncor Electric Delivery as a consulting engineer. He was employed with the company for a total of 42 years and retired on April 1, 2015. Survivors: Waymon leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Mae; his precious daughter, Alexyndra; brothers, Alexander and Anthony Guiton; sisters, Karen Jackson, LaToya Guiton and Leslee Benin; aunts; cousins; and a host of family and friends.
