Mrs. Wanda G. Rushing

Mrs. Wanda G. Rushing, age 91, of Colleyville, Texas was born on August 2, 1930 and passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. On May 14, 1949 she married Fred Melvin Rushing. Wanda retired from Lockheed Martin in 1999.

She never forgot anybody she met and her grandkids were her pride and joy. Wanda enjoyed visitors, reunions, gardening, cooking, canning, shelling pecans, traveling, Casa Mañana shows.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Fred Melvin Rushing. She is survived by her sisters, Rose Allred, Jean Crow (C.J.), and Clara Hamner; daughter, Melinda "Kasey" Wells (Craig); son Greg Rushing (Sherry); grandchildren, Melvin "Trae" Clay (Amanda), Asher Wells, and Brianne Huffstuttler (Keith); and great-grandchildren, Brenden, Mercie, Kailey, Tyler, Liam, Zoey.

A visitation for Wanda will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
