Victor Smith, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, died peacefully Friday, Jan. 9, 2015. He was a longtime resident of North Richland Hills. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Vic was born May 27, 1944, in Flora, Ill. He graduated from high school in Centralia, Ill., and attended college in Los Angeles, Calif. He proudly served in the Air Force. Vic enjoyed chess, fishing, golf and the Texas Rangers and was an overall sports fan. The true light of his life were his three grandsons. Survivors: His wife of 30 years, Susan; daughter, Cindy Fleming and husband, David; grandchildren, Garrett, Christian and Sam; brother, William A. Smith; sister, Nyla Holsapple; and close family friend and Cindy's mother, Charlsie Smith
