Tok Son Weyant was born in South Korea on September 29th, 1943, and married Jozef Lucas, United States Air Force, and moved with their daughter, Rena, to Fort Worth, TX in 1973.
Tok Son was widowed by Jozef Lucas in 1985 and later remarried to Robert Weyant, United States Air Force and Postal Service, in 1997 and was widowed in 2000. Tok Son worked as a housekeeper for a hotel for 17 years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and granddaughter, cooking her favorite Korean dishes for the family, gambling, shopping, and fishing. She is described by her family as fiercely devoted, loving, and intuitive with a unique sense of humor.
Tok Son is survived by her daughter, Rena Buetow, and husband, Gary Buetow of Watauga, TX. Granddaughter, Megan Grisham, and husband, Trenton Grisham of Fort Worth, TX. Tok Son is also survived by three sisters in South Korea.
Cremation and sea burial will be held at a later date amongst close family members.
