He was born on November 27, 1948 in El Dorado, AR to Lee Thomas Varnell and Eve Smith Varnell.

Thomas is survived by his wife: Donna Varnell of Whitesboro, Texas

Son: Thomas Varnell, Jr. and grandchildren: Thomas Varnell III and Chelsea Varnell.

Son: Chad Varnell and grandsons: Preston Varnell, Seth Varnell, and Ethan Varnell.

Step-Son: John Boysen and wife Lynda and grandson Hunter Boysen.

Sisters: Deborah Flores , Anita Kelly, Linda Allred and Joyce Stone.

Nieces and Nephews: Donnie Flores, Andre Flores, Damon Flores, David Flores, Sean Kelly, Brandon Kelly, DeAnne Kelly, Brenda Kelley, LaDonna Busby, Melissa Anderberg, Todd Cash, and Kristy Cash.

Great Nieces and Nephews: Mason Flores, Tyson Flores, Miguel Flores, Alex Flores, Dominic Flores, Elizabeth Flores, Sierra Burton, Mariah Flores, Julianna Flores, Kaden Flores, Lisa Vala, Shaunna Sledge, Jeremy Sledge, Katie Kelley, Nicole Kelley, Charley Shade, and Madelyn Shade.

He was preceded in death by his father Lee Thomas Varnell and mother Eve Varnell.

The visitation will be held on Sunday November 29, 2020 from 2p-3p at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the funeral service starting at 3pm. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
