Tom was born on a bitter cold February 3, 1949 in Cleburne, TX to Frank and Sterline Dunson.
After graduating from Polytechnic High School. Tom went on to study at Brown Trail School of Preaching. Tom earned a degree in economics from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1977.
Tom held licensing from several states in Life and Health Insurance. In the 1980's he worked for his dad in the family produce business.
Tom and Sherry were married at The Hills, formally known as Richland Hills Church of Christ, on June 13, 1981; where they have continued to worship and love their church family. Tom made several mission trips that took him to Canada as well as Africa. He loved those trips and teaching people about Jesus.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sherry, son, Joseph and wife, Terri; daughter, Tiffany Jaquess-Beltran and husband, Jose and daughter, Amy Jackson. Six grandchildren and two great-grandsons; father, Frank Dunson; brother, Jerry Dunson and sister, Sheila Hill.
He is preceded is death by mother, Sterline Dobbs and son, Thomas F. Dunson III.
