Thomas Neal Chaffin passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. Tom was born February 21, 1954, in Harlingen to Allan and Audrey Chaffin. Born into an Air Force family, Tom lived in many places, including Japan, moving to Fort Worth upon his dad's retirement. He graduated from Richland High School and attended Tarrant County College before joining the Air Force. He served as a weather forecaster in Phoenix, Colorado Springs, and two tours in Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Tom is survived by his brother, Allan Chaffin Jr. and his wife, Lisa; sister, Patricia "Trish" Diane Bean and her husband, Steve; nephew, Allan "Chip" Chaffin III; nieces, Kelly Testa and her husband, David, and Angela Bean; great-nephews, Jack Wallace Jr., Judah and Tom Testa; uncle, Jack Knight; numerous cousins; and lifelong friend, Phillip Freeman.
