Terry married Jo Ann Parrack on Aug. 22, 1959. Terry loved God, his wife, his three daughters and his family and lovingly engaged every single person that crossed his path every single day.
Terry graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and served in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of captain. Terry spent many years successfully working in the insurance industry before retirement, and then found great joy for more than 17 years when he began substitute teaching. Fondly known as "Mr. T.," Terry always included lessons on American history no matter what subject he taught. However, what students will most remember were his lessons on manners, on how young men should treat young women, and on his love for his Savior Jesus.
In most recent years, Terry spent his days giving out rubber wristbands inscribed with "God IS BIG ENOUGH" to all he encountered. Terry loved people and Jesus.
Terry is survived by the love of his life, Jo Ann Parrack. Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry, and is survived by his beloved sister, Marilyn Barnard, and brother-in-law, Roger Barnard of Missouri. Terry is also survived by his three daughters and son-in-laws, Terry Ann and Jay Kelly, Tracy and Michael McCrea, and Julie and David Smith; and 12 grandchildren, Katelin and husband, Colt, Clay, Colt, Clint and Chad Kelly, Courtney, Caleb, Campbell, Callyanne and Grace McCrea, and Thompson and Bethany Smith. His greatest joy was knowing that all of his children and grandchildren walked with Jesus.
