

Shirley Ann (Holland) Cramer, 78, passed away peacefully at Medical City Hospital in McKinney, TX, surrounded by family on Saturday, December 22, 2018. She was born on September 3, 1940 near Farmington, IA, in rural Lee County, to Roy and Dorothy Holland. She was a 1958 graduate of Donnellson High School in Donnellson, IA.
She was a former resident of Farmington, and Fort Madison, IA; Quincy, IL; Bedford, and Euless, TX. She was living at Avalon Memory Care Center, in McKinney, TX, at the time of her passing.
She married Leslie Norton Cramer on April 29, 1961 in Fort Madison, IA. They had 3 children during their 57 years of marriage. Shirley was a devoted mother and wife, who selflessly gave of her time making sure her home and anyone who entered it was taken care of. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and Yahtzee, working find-a-word books, taking care of her pets, and watching wildlife (that would visit her home). She most enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Raymond Holland and wife Helen of Freeport, IL, Roger Holland of Farmington, IA, Charles Holland and wife Lee of Fort Madison, IA; daughter Lana Jo Kimbrell and husband Jimmy of Henderson, TX; two sons, Greg Cramer and wife Yolanda of Watauga, TX, and Mike Cramer of Gunter, TX; three grandchildren, Tara, Whitney, and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Brooklynne and Harper; several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy Holland; her husband, Leslie Cramer; and great-grandson, Jaxon. Cremation services were provided by Allen Funeral Home in Plano, TX.
