Sherry Jackson

Sherry was born on July 3, 1955 in Bridgeport, TX to her loving mother Ara Fae and father Winifred Arrington. A loyal, loud, and proud Yellow Jacket, she graduated from Boyd High School in 1973. Sherry had a successful 35-year career at American Airlines followed by a 7-year career with Prospect Airport Services. Sherry felt blessed to have found her calling in life through these roles when she specialized in disability transportation and served as the Disability Coordinator at DFW Airport. In this role, she assisted thousands of disabled passengers traveling through the airport, and helped to develop best known methods to improve their travel experience. She was a diligent and industrious worker who channeled her positive energy into her professional work and the work of raising a family.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Sherry had a passion for fashion, travel, cooking, and her dear dog Pinky Lee. She was an amazing cook, a brave cancer fighter, a hilarious and caring friend, and a loving wife and mother. Sherry sure packed a lot of life and heart into her little 5’1” frame!

Sherry is preceded in death by her mother Ara Fae, brother Eddie Don, sister Debbie Fae, and father Wimpy. Sherry is survived by her husband Robert Jackson, daughter Kelly Jackson, and son-in-law TJ Klump.

Sherry’s Celebration of Life will be held on December 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home located in 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
