Roy Vernon Davis, Jr., 87, passed away Nov. 13, 2015. Graveside Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Roy was born Jan. 12, 1928, in Ft. Worth to Roy Vernon Davis, Sr. and Catherine Millican Davis. Roy was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Air Force. Roy was a petroleum engineer, working in oil fields all over the world. Roy loved working on air planes in the Air Force and later with model air planes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria S. Davis. His survived by his daughter, Amalia Davis; granddaughter, Niki Davis; and his sister, Jettie Vines.
