Roger Craig Webb, son of Crockett and Maxine Webb, was born in Fort Worth November 4, 1946 and grew up in Richland Hills, graduating from Richland High School in 1964. He received a BS degree from UTA in 1969. In 1972 he became a teacher with Birdville ISD, first at Watauga then Smithfield Junior High, and retired from Haltom High School in 2000.
In August 1966 he married Dolores Griffin, his high school sweetheart. They were blessed with 3 wonderful daughters who were the light of his life and who gave him 9 amazing grandchildren who called him “Papa” and made his heart happy.
He thoroughly enjoyed his family, traveling, good food, punny jokes and his many dogs.
Roger was a faithful follower of Christ serving as a teacher, deacon, and elder first at Midtown, then at Heritage Church of Christ and, for the past 9 years as a member at Legacy Church of Christ. He loved being with his dear Christian friends, and, as his health declined and he was unable to be out, he loved the cards and calls he got from them.
He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers, and grandson Landon Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores Webb; and daughters Amy Norred and husband Jim, Alicia Edwards and husband Damon, and Andrea Magrina and husband Javier. His heritage includes his adored grandchildren Cole and wife Ashley Edwards, Nealie and husband Graham Beeland, Madison Edwards, Cade Wilson, Nick Norred, Alec Wilson, Andrew Edwards and Austin Edwards......and his beloved dog Kroger.
