She was born in Amarillo, Texas on April 29, 1933.
Peggy graduated from Vernon High School in Vernon, Texas where she was also a cheerleader.
Peggy had a well known Dress Shop called "Peggy's of Euless" on Main St in 1965-1972 then moved it to the "Fullers House" next door to EZ way Market on Hwy 10 & Main St. She also worked at the Dallas Apparel Mart in Dallas and for American Airlines.
When she moved to Euless in 1960 the family joined United Methodist Church of Euless.
She enjoyed Playing Bridge, Fishing, taking care of her eight grandchildren & seven great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her four boys and their wifes:
Randy and Mona; Bill and Lori; Greg and Kelly; Rodney and Darlene; Eight grandchildren Shawn, Amanda,Corey, Preston, Brian, Courtney, Spencer, Colby as well as 7 great-grandchildren Trinity, Colten, Avery, Jackson, Ruby, Brooks, and Carter. Peggy has one living sister Teresa Hunnicutt.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack C. Ray; her father Bill West; mother Gladys West; sister Frances Hull; brothers Gene West and Jerry Don West.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034. A committal service will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034.
