Mrs. Paula Gay Hancock

On the night of July 4th, 2021, Paula Gay Hancock of Haslet, TX, passed away at the age of 66. She was born to Charles and Virginia Slaten in 1954. In December of 1977 she married Steve Hancock and raised two children, Justin and Courtney. She worked in a variety of administrative roles at Harvest Christian Academy and Texas Christian University.

Paula loved children, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed serving at her church with babies. taking her family to TCU football games, and hosting family meals where she made sure everyone had a dish they could enjoy. She was known for her selfless generosity in looking for ways to show her family and friends how much she cared for them.

Paula is preceded in death by her father, Charles. She is survived by her husband, Steve, her children, Justin and Courtney, her mother, Virginia, her sister and brother, Gwen and Kent, her grandchildren, Eli, Isaiah, Knox, Selah, and Sadie, and all her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The viewing service is at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, TX on Friday, July 9th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. A celebration of life service will also be at Bluebonnet Hills in Colleyville, TX on Saturday, July 10th at 10:00am.
