Pam was born on September 20th, 1954 in Gainesville Texas to Glenn and Doris McLerran. She married her husband Lonnie Hellman in August of 1978.
Pam received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s degree from the University of North Texas. She used the knowledge and skills she gained in her own education to teach others of all ages at various schools in the area, in roles ranging from the elementary school to the college level.
Pam’s passion in later years was to travel, visiting over 30 countries with various women’s traveling groups or with her husband Lonnie.
Pam is preceded in death by both of her parents, and survived by her husband Lonnie, sons Wes and Scott, brother Glenn McLerran, sisters Virginia Newsome and Donna McLerran, and numerous nieces and nephews.
