On July 23rd, 2024, Nathan Mark Elder, after battling cancer, passed from this earthly realm surrounded by his wife and two sons, and entered his heavenly home to be with his Lord and his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mark was born in Lubbock, Texas in 1940 to Nelda and Henry Elder. He graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth in 1958. In 1974, he graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. Mark began his career at AT&T, followed by multiple franchises in vitamins and window treatments.
He experienced his greatest joy when he was spending time with his family, his many friends, and his antique cars. He was greatly loved by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny, their two sons, Kevin (Brandi) and Chris (Wendy), and his four grandchildren Nate, Parker, Luke, and Gabe. He is also survived by his two sisters, Kay Sexton and Suzie Moore, along with his two brothers Roger and David Elder.
His Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, July 28th, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, Texas. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The funeral will take place at 2:00 p.m. and the burial will occur at 3:00 p.m.
