Michael David Edwards, age 67, of North Richland Hills, Texas. Passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Radmila Edwards; children, Renato Edwards and his wife Amanda, and Daisy Edwards; grandchildren, Grant, Sofia, and Julian Edwards; siblings, Roylynn Edwards Carrell and her husband Bobby, Matthew Edwards and his wife Donna, and Torrie Potter and her husband Charles, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family. Michael was born in San Angelo, Texas. He enlisted in the U. S. Army and served his country during Vietnam. He retired from military service after 22 years. During his career he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with 2 bronze stars, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross and many other honors. First and Foremost Michael loved his wife. He also loved hiking and camping, almost as much as he loved his wife. He hiked the Appalachian Trail on several occasions. He loved reading, telling stories, traveling, experiencing new cultures, and absolutely loved to eat. Michael was “A trouble maker who tried to stay out of trouble.” He never met a stranger, was funny and quirky and was one of the smartest people you would ever meet. His wit and banter will be missed by friends, family and all his followers on Facebook.
