Our beautiful Melissa Sandoval Padgett entered into eternal rest on May 30, 2023. Melissa was born to Jose and Alicia Sandoval on February 6, 1986 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She attended kindergarten and 1st grade at Leila P. Cowart Elementary in Oak Cliff. Transferring to G.C.I.S.D., she completed her education and graduated from Grapevine High School in 2004. She followed her passion for fashion and managed a clothing store, then worked at UPS where she was part of the union for 3 years.
Melissa was beautiful, charismatic, and had a great sense of style. She loved singing and dancing, especially to Britney Spears; she was the life of the party. Despite her small stature, she held her strength through her unwavering confidence in speaking what she believed. She was an amazing older sister, wonderful wife, a protective and loving mother, an unbelievable home maker; always seeking to provide the joys of life for her family.
Melissa is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Leopoldo and Maria Navarro, Aunt Aurora Poeschel, and Uncle Ruben Navarro.
Melissa is survived by her husband Joshua Padgett, daughters Charlotte and Caroline, and son Miles. Her parents, Jose and Alicia Sandoval, brother Alex, and sister Megan.
Melissa also leaves behind paternal grandparents, Alejandro and Maria Nicolasa Sandoval, 4 Uncles, 13 Aunts and 60 cousins. Melissa is and will continue to be deeply missed. We were blessed to have her 37 years. “You will continue to live in our hearts, Rest in Peace my beautiful angel.”
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The service will be held the following day, Friday, July 21st at 10:00 am. Both at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas, 76034.
