February 18, 2017, at the age of 82. Mary was born
September 15, 1934 in Fort Cobb, Oklahoma to Paul
and Evelyn Jackson and graduated from Oklahoma
College for Women in 1955. Mary was united in marriage
to Bill C. Glover on June 15, 1956. They resided in
Cushing, Oklahoma where Bill completed his college
education at Oklahoma State University. In 1959 the
couple moved to Hobbs. Mary was an excellent teacher,
employed by Houston Junior High and Hobbs High School
until becoming a homemaker in 1962. She treasured
spending time and serving alongside her best friend and
husband of 45 years. She was actively involved with
Jefferson Street Church of Christ, faithfully serving as
an elder’s wife for over 25 years and dedicating her time
and energy to the spiritual needs of others. As a beautiful,
Spirit led follower of Jesus, she leaves a legacy as a
wonderful wife, mother, grand-mom, friend and teacher.
Mary was a sweetheart and her kindness and love blessed
others. Following Bill’s death in 2001, Mary moved to
North Richland Hills, TX in 2004 to be close to her family,
whom she loved and cherished deeply. Mary is survived
by her daughter, Kim Yowell and her husband, Lance; and

of her life, her granddaughters, Madelyn Glover, Kayla
Yowell, Brooklyn Yowell; and grandsons, Garrett Glover
and Austin Glover, all of Keller, TX. She is also survived
