Ms. Linda M Miller

Linda Myrle Lisby was born on August 31st, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to Paul Davis Lisby Jr. and Ethel Myrle Lisby. Her faith was founded at a young age, beginning with being saved in her church. Linda's early education was taught at M.H. Moore and she graduated from Diamond Hill Jarvis, continuing her education at TCC.

Linda met John Miller, the love of her life, at an Elvis Presley movie. She had attended with her friend Anita and saw John across the lobby. It was love at first sight, as she is quoted as saying "I'm going to date him some day. He was so handsome and he looked like Elvis." She married at age 15 with her parent's blessing. Together they had three children: Stephen E. Miller, Susan L. Cline and Sandra Jean Miller. One of her major accomplishments is in having raised three ambitious, independent children. Her hobbies included drawing and reading. She was a loving, caring, family-oriented, optimistic person who sacrificed her well-being for her daughter Sandy's comfort.

Linda was a stay-at-home mom, then worked for Southwestern Bell. After leaving Southwestern Bell she worked at various banks as an encoder.

Her faith remained a guiding influence in her life with her membership at Bellevue Baptist Church in Hurst, Texas. One of Linda's favorite passages of scripture was Psalm 23. And now she does dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Miller; her parents Paul Davis Lisby Jr. and Ethel Myrle Lisby, and her brother Donald “Red” Lisby.

Linda is survived by sisters Wanda Brown and Beverly Owens; and her brother Ronnie “Bo” Lisby. She leaves behind a great legacy with her three children: son Stephen E. Miller (Jamie), daughter Susan L. Cline (Frank), and daughter Sandra Jean Miller; grandchildren: Christopher Gallardo, Dustin Gallardo, Rachel Gallardo, Shane Miller, Jeremey Miller, Sandra Davis, Justin Cline, Jordan Cline, and Anthony Gray, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was and is very loved, and will be greatly missed.
