Dr. Kenneth A. Jewell

Dr. Kenneth A. Jewell, devoted family man, went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 8, 2017. Visitation: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017. Funeral: 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 both services to be at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park. Kenneth was born on November 13, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the only child of Harry and Mildred Jewell. On Valentine’s Day 1946 Kenneth proposed to his future bride Elsie Erickson; they were married for 56 years until her passing in 2002. In their 56 years of marriage, Kenneth and Elsie attended Fort Worth Bible Church, hosted foreign exchange students and missionaries, and owned Jewell Chiropractic. In the 55 years that Dr. Jewell served the Fort Worth area with his strong work ethic, he never turned down a patient. Those who preceded Kenneth in death are his bride Elsie, his parents, and son Tim Jewell. Survivors: sons; Karl Jewell, wife Patti, Duane Jewell, wife Kathleen, Brian Jewell and wife Alise, grandchildren; Erin Jewell Bergman, and husband Brian, Alyssa Jewell Omdall, and husband Eric, Mikael Kelsey Jewell, Tyler Jewell, Lauren Jewell, Brandon Jewell, and wife Katie, Eric Jewell, Kenny Jewell, and wife Jonna, and Jason Jewell. His great-grandchildren include Josiah, Cyrus, Truitt, Simeon, Gabrielle, Jordan, Amelia, Paige, and two future great-granddaughters. Other survivors: Cheri Jewell and Pat Jewell.
