Mrs. June Partin

June was born to Norris Zachary and Auda Mae Taylor in Paris, Texas on March 7, 1940. She grew up in Grapevine, Texas. She met the love of her life, Fred L. “Lanny” Partin Jr., at Florence Baptist Church in Keller, Texas. They married in 1956 and lived in Haltom City where they welcomed daughter Rebecca June (Becky) in 1958 and Timothy Fred (Tim) in 1960. They moved to Euless in 1963 and became active members at First Baptist Euless, now Cross City Church. In 1966, twins Lanna Diane and Kevin Lanier joined the family.

She was a lady of strong Christian faith and she and Dad instilled that in us, their children. She taught us all about Jesus with her words and life example. She was a godly example in every way to her whole family. She loved deeply and unconditionally. We will miss her greatly, but we know she is with Jesus, and we will join her someday.

June was predeceased by her parents, sister Eleanor Pierce and brother-in-law Bob Pierce, brothers Kenneth and Ted Taylor, and nephews Gary Pierce and Tony Taylor; her in-laws Fred L. Sr. and Ruby Partin and brother-in-law Richard Gilbert.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Lanny, daughter Becky Moren and husband Gene, son Tim Partin, daughter Lanna Montgomery and husband Steve, son Kevin Partin and wife Karissa. Grandchildren John Moren and wife Samantha, Grant Moren and wife Lindsey, Jennifer King and husband Kyle; Madison Montgomery, Jordan Montgomery; Cooper Partin and wife Ashley and CJ Partin.

She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Ryan, Abriela, and Elia Moren, Hannah and Abigail Moren and Brayden King.

She is also survived by sister-in-law Patsy Taylor, brothers Ray Taylor and wife Kathy, David Taylor and wife Natalie; sister-in-law Gerry Gilbert, brother-in-law Walt Partin and wife Brenda, brother-in-law John Partin and wife Nelda, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Please join us for a celebration of her life on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Cross City Church, 1000 Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas 76039. Visitation begins at 12:30pm, service at 1pm, with graveside service to follow at Laurel Land in Fort Worth, Texas.
