She was married to Walter Ferris on March 21, 1959 and together they had three daughters. Judy never worked outside the home, preferring to focus her energy on being a mother. She had a passion for antiquing, watching the birds and wildlife, and baking for her family.
She leaves her stamp on the world through those she is survived by: daughters, Pam Sweeney, Kiva Brown (Mark), Kimberly Fordyce (Mark); grandchildren, Amanda Panzer (Sy), Tyler Williams (Adrienne), Mysha Dumois (Tim), Kayla Ornelas (Jacob), William Fordyce (Sarah), Deana Cartwright (Luis Bacilio), Lauren Brown; Great-Grandchildren, Kierra, Kolby, Logan, Luke, Tripp, Jameson, Hudson, Levi, Liam, Rhett, Maddison, Layton, Haisley, Copeland, and the newest baby Fordyce born Sept 23, Archer.
