Juan Salvador Rodela, of Fort Worth, TX passed away on August 17, 2018 in Fort Worth, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on December 27, 1931 to Juanita and Lorenza Rodela in Putnam, TX.
Juan graduated from Trimble Tech High School. He served his country from 1953 to 1960 in US Army. Juan returned home where he would meet and marry Irene the woman he would spend 58 years with. Juan was a machinist who retired from Fruehauf Trailer in 1990. Juan loved to golf and tinker around the house and spend time with his family.
Juan is survived by his wife Irene Rodela; son Mark Rodela and wife Victoria; son John Rodela and wife Jessica; daughter Elizabeth Moore and husband Richard; grandchildren Samuel Rodela, Christopher Rodela, Nia Moore Odgers and husband Bobby, Amanda Rodela, Cassandra Moore, Seanna Rodela and John Anthony Rodela and great grandson Michael Moore and Juan’s sister Antonia Perales and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father Lorenza and mother Juanita Rodela, his brothers George and Joe Rodela.
The Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Rosary being held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service is being held on August 23, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
