Joseph Winston Shelton

In loving memory of Joseph Winston Shelton, who entered this life on February 7, 1931, and answered God’s call on July 8, 2016. The family will welcome friends during Visitation held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas, 76034. The Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 3pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be: George Harvey, George Hammons, Kim Shelton, Donny Shelton, Kenny Hammons, Tim Hammons and Larry Shelton. Joseph was born in Pilot Point, Texas. A Korean War Veteran, Master of the Masons, and a member of the Shriners, Eastern Star, Scottish Rites, and York Rites, he was very active and loved helping others. He was a long time employee of Euless Aero Components and later retired after many years of service in 1997. Joseph enjoyed many family gathering and outings, which usually involved camping, cook-outs and swimming trips. Though he has left us in body, his wonderful smile and memories will forever be with us. A kind and loving man has gone to be a guardian angel. He will lovingly watch over his wife of 65 years, Mary Ann Shelton; sons, John Shelton and David Shelton; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Tony Shelton and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family members.
