I had just gotten to know Joey 
after he came to work at Ryder. 
He was a very nice guy and a true asset to our office team at Ryder Desoto! I’m so sorry for your loss!

My deepest condolences to the family.May God give you peace in this troubled time. I was devastated to hear the news. I was apart of his work family .He dispatched our trailers for work. He was my favorite guy to talk to at work.He was always smiling and always a very hard worker . I remember telling him so and him replying
 “I try”.               Rest now My friend!!

My prayers are with Joey’s family and friends. May God give you all the strength, and peace you need during this difficult time.

Hi, I'm Mike and I drive for Ryder. Joey was such a great young man and was very well liked by all the driver's. So sorry for your loss. He is missed every day. 

I am so saddened to hear about this. Joey was a good childhood friend. We played baseball, football, and really anything you could think of from middle school on. Joey was kind, compassionate, competitive, and just overall a great person. I feel bad that we lost touch as the years have gone on, but thought I would see him again, and looked forward to catching up. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Highschool was a blast man. I loved playing sports with you. You’ll always be remembered. 

Our sophmore year of college, Joey would come down to me and Shavon's room and hangout for hours. I found this picture of one of those days, where he showed up, hopped on my bed, and just hungout. 

This was at a Texas Tech event hosted by Target. We ran wild in there, but had a blast. 

This is a picture of the Howdy Techsan group that Joey was in his Sophmore year. He met alot of his close college friends in this group. 

I met Joey my sophmore year at Tech. We met through the Howdy Techsans group, which helped students move in on campus at the beginning of the year. Joey was hilarious and we soon became close friends. I have so many memories of him, but my favorite, and most important one is when we both met my wife.  

At the beginning of our junior year, Joey came by my dorm and brought me some tacos. As we were talking in the main lobby he saw my wife. He looked at me, and said, "wow, she's pretty, you better go talk to her", and off of a dare from Joey 
I did just that. 

Thats what Joey did, he built your confidence, and made you laugh. He brought so much joy into my life, and most importantly he brought me to my wife.  I loved Joey and always will. 

Joey was a co-worker at Ryder, him DeSoto, TX and me in OMC Kentucky. I noticed he had not been into work, I did not know what happened. I was so shocked when I found out what happened. I talked every night with him on the phone working together. Trying to piece together what happened while we were not there at work. We laugh and helped each other every night. He was very nice and very intelligent. He is Missed. My Heart goes out to his Family, Friends, and Co-workers. Joey, Thank you for helping me. You will always be Missed. Again my condolence to everyone.

I have lovely memories of Joey from high school, all filled with laughter. I always appreciated his silliness, sense of humor, and cheerful grin. He was a delight to be around and will be remembered with sweetness and a smile. 

You were such an incredible force in this life and in our family, my sweet cousin. We are broken because you are gone yet whole because you were here you sure left a huge hole 
I will for we cherish that last weekend we were all together at the camp you were taken far to soon rip joe ♥️ we love you 

Joey was my co-worker at Ryder Integrated Logistics although I only knew him for a short period he always approached everyone full of positive energy and light. Joey seemed fearless and eager to take on the world. He was phenomenal at his job and extremely welcoming as a coworker. Joey was simply a breath of fresh air. To the family I pray that God consoles you in your time of grief. My prayers are with you.
