Mr. Johnny Ray Price

Johnny Ray Price, 87, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 23, 2023, after a courageous battle with a long-term injury. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.

Johnny was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, on June 14, 1935. After he finished school in Winnsboro, he moved to Fort Worth, where he started his career with Bell Helicopter and ultimately met the love of his life, Frances Lee.

Johnny and Frances were married on October 12, 1956, in Fort Worth, Texas, and celebrated 66 loving years together. Johnny was a dedicated husband and hard worker. He cherished his life with Frances and dedicated his life to providing success for his family. Johnny helped raise his three children with love and patience. They were blessed with a large and loving family. He supported their endeavors and encouraged them to explore the beauty of the gospel.

He was a kind and loving partner to his spouse Frances and an amazing father to Randy, John, and Gayla. Additionally, Johnny and Frances played an integral part in creating the legacy of Christian beliefs in their four precious grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mary Price, his son Randall Price, brothers Arthur Jr and Robert Price, and sister Catherine Frazier. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Lee Price; son John Price, daughter Gayla (Price) Campbell; sisters, Mary Price, Dorothy Lanier, and Pauline Mason; grandchildren, Amber Simmons, Jacquelyne Sitterud, Stephanie Paradise, Natalie Bandy; and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Johnny will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Colleyville, Texas 76034. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
