He was raised in Haltom City and graduated from Haltom High School in 1982. He loved sports- basketball, baseball and football. He went on to attend ITT Tech School where he met his wife at a part time job in 1985. They later married in 1994 and lived in North Richland Hills. He got his real estate license in 2001 and worked with Century 21 Mike Bowman, Keller Williams Southlake, and Sold Team Realty. In 2012 he and his wife started Solecki Realty.
Wes(he never went by John) was an amazing man, he was kind, caring, generous and quick to help. He was always ready to lend a hand. Since he never had children, he adopted the neighbor's and was so proud to see them grow up and have children of their own. (Thank you for sharing your kids with us!)
He was extremely talented and creative. He could do anything house related - except plumbing!
He was a great storyteller and had a fantastic sense of humor. If he liked you he picked on you a little and you might even get a prank or two.
Wes loved life and he loved his friends and family, but I think even more were his animals. He was an avid animal lover over people I think - he might not remember your name, but he sure knew your pet! If there was a dog running around we had to stop and get it home before we could go on. He was that kind of guy. A good friend to all. He was a protector and never allowed anyone to hurt anyone else..he would step in and stop it. He believed you should always do the right thing and watch out for others. He loved God and tried to live accordingly. He will be missed in this world by all those who had the great fortune to know him.
He is survived by his wife Lori Solecki of North Richland Hills and his parents John and Bonnie Solecki of Richland Hills.
