John “Cody”, was born on February 2, 1943, in Weatherford, Texas to Mary Lou and Ray Cogburn.
Cody married Linda Cogburn and together they shared 41 years of marriage.
He loved to spend time with his family and some of his hobbies included fishing and shooting pool.
Cody is survived by his wife; Linda Cogburn, children; Denna Landes, Denise Parrish, Brant Schofield, and Kirk Schofield, and grandchildren; Tyler Landes, Chelsea McConnell, Weston Wilt, Nici Parrish, Scott Schofield, Troy Schofield, Austin Schofield, Blake Schofield, Haylee Schofield, Kassi Cavins, and 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Cody will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.
