Joe Edward Womack, age 79, of Azle, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday May 31, 2018. A funeral will be held on Tuesday June 5, 2018 at 12:30 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday June 4, 2018 from 6 p.m.-8 p. m. at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home.
Joe Edward Womack was born August 29, 1938 in Dallas Texas to Charles Womack and Ester Westbrook. He will be remembered as a talented hard worker. The family moved to the John T. White area when he was 16. Joe worked at Bell Helicopter for 30 years in maintenance.
Joe married Mary Noell in 1958 and had 59 years of marriage. Joe loved to play golf and didn't start playing until he was 40 years old.
He was preceded in death by two sons David Wayne Womack and Jerry Don Womack.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Noell Womack, two daughters Patricia Craig, Linda Boyle and husband Kenny Boyle, eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
