Jill Lee Austin

Jill Lee Rudd Austin, age 67 of Bedford, Texas passed away on November 28th, 2023. She was born in Rock Island, Illinois June 27, 1956. Jill graduated from Rock Island High School. After High School she attended Palmer Chiropractic College and became a Chiropractic Assistant. Jill was the Chiropractic Assistant for her brother Kelly for five years before coming to Fort Worth to become a Flight Attendant. Jill worked for American Eagle Airlines until her death.

Jill lived a life of service. As a Flight Attendant, she took great pride in her work; caring for passengers and pilots. As a friend, aunt, daughter, sister, she enjoyed baking, home decorating, gardening and shopping for meaningful gifts for that special person, by far her favorite role was wife. On Thanksgiving, we went around the table and shared what we were most thankful for and Eric certainly topped her list. She loved her husband Eric with all her heart and enjoyed serving him in every way, especially with food. She expressed her gratitude for her family, her doctors and spending time with family. She was loved and we will greatly miss her smile, her generosity, her laughter and even her singing (she was a better cook than singer)

Jill is preceded in death by her parents Don and Jackie Rudd. Jill is survived by her husband, Eric Austin, her sister Jody, brother Kelly and wife Kris. In-laws (Elaine and Bill Cooper and Linda and Greg Austin), brothers in law Jason, (Natalie) and Charlie (Emily) Nieces (Alexis “AJ”, Alisa, Mary Katherine “MK”, Claire, and Caroline) Nephews (Aaron, Will, and Oliver) Great Nieces (Evalyn, Khloe) Great Nephews (Dalton, Evan,Ashton, Cass, and Amos)
