Mrs. Jessie C. Pollard

Jessie was born in Greensboro, Alabama to George and Mattie Clements. She was the 11th of 12 children. Jessie is predeceased by her patents, all eleven siblings, and her husband, Lavelle Pollard.

Jessie was a life-long Baptist, a homemaker and a caring and giving person. She gave generously of her time to drive friends to doctor's appointment and church and pick up their groceries when needed.

She invited her daughter's friends to vacations bible school and picked them up to attend. She was a positive influence in many people's lives. Jessie enjoyed sewing and sewed all her daughter's clothes and school drill team and prep squad uniforms as they were growing up.

Jessie enjoyed antique shopping with her daughters when she was still healthy enough. They would shop all day in multiple antique stores and sometimes forgot to stop to eat lunch.

She is Survived by Daughters: Marty (Bret), Shirley, Amanda (Eric) Pearson.

Granddaughter: Brittany (Randall) Gurney

Great granddaughter: Leah Gurney

A visitation for Jessie will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, followed by a funeral service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
